This year we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our annual
King Sports Tournament
We extend the invitation to all clubs within SNE, The OSA, and other
Provinces to take part on this very special occasion of
The King Sports Tournament
History
The Kings
Sports Tournament began in 1980 as part of a tri sport weekend. The
original concept was a weekend of Horseshoes, Slow Pitch and Soccer.
This weekend was the brainchild of then President of the Kings
Sports Social Club and the President of the Pembroke Soccer Club of
the time.
The rest
is history, the soccer tournament flourished and became a stand
alone entity in 1984 and has been a strong well organized, much
appreciated tournament, one of the most popular in the SNE Soccer
District and historically has had strong involvement from all parts
of Ontario, Quebec and New York State.
