Kings Sports Tournament

August 15th & 16th, 2009!!!

The tournament is open to competitive teams in the following age groups:

U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, and U18

Application Deadline is July 17, 2009

The Kings Sports Tournament began in 1980 as part of a tri sport weekend. The original concept was a weekend of Horseshoes, Slow Pitch and Soccer. This weekend was the brainchild of then President of the Kings Sports social club and the President of the Pembroke Soccer Club of the time. The discussion also involved the President of the Aylmer Aydelu Soccer Club who were in Pembroke on a frequent exchange weekend.
   
The rest is history, the soccer tournament flourished and became a stand alone entity in 1984 and has been a strong well organized, much appreciated tournament, one of the most popular in the SNE Soccer District and historically has had strong involvement from all parts of Ontario, Quebec and New York State.
